POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise operational activities which may include pit and/or plant production (secondary processing plant), plant maintenance, and mobile equipment at our Jefferson Quarry. Responsible for training and development of team, scheduling, performance management, and effective leadership of hourly workforce. Successfully implement the company's safety and environmental processes. Successfully lead and manage to established production, safety, and environmental objectives and metrics. Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining, Civil), Business, or equivalent experience required

  • 5+ years' experience in aggregate operations with understanding of mineral processing equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated mobile equipment

  • Minimum 3+ year supervisory experience in a mining environment preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Proficient on PC to include MS Office suite; Aggflow or other similar a plus

  • Experience with pit design/exploration, drilling, blasting, inventory control, inventory measures and customer service preferred

  • Ability to work flexible schedule as required; including nights and weekends

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
