We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who possesses a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and will be proficient in PLC, CNC maintenance, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
1.
Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and fix them before they cause breakdowns.
2.
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery, including PLC and CNC machines.
3.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in machinery and equipment.
4.
Assisting in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
5.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
6.
Documenting all maintenance and repair work done, including the details of issues resolved and parts used.
7.
Collaborating with other team members and departments to optimize maintenance procedures and minimize downtime.
8.
Keeping up-to-date with latest industry trends and advancements in technology to suggest improvements in maintenance processes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry or a similar role.
2.
Proficiency in PLC, CNC maintenance, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
3.
A solid understanding of industrial control systems.
4.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in complex machinery and equipment.
5.
Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to work in awkward spaces and lift heavy equipment.
6.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
7.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document maintenance work accurately and clearly.
8.
Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with other departments.
9.
Relevant certification or diploma in a technical field would be an added advantage.
